Bet Online Craps - Craps Playing Tips
Before you start set your parameters. Decide in advance how much money you are prepared to lose
and how big a win will be enough. When you reach one of these limits call it a day.
Be aware of the bets and how to make them. The best bets at the Craps table are; Pass, Don't
Pass, Come, Don't Come, Taking or laying the free odds and Placing numbers.
Start off small with conservative bets until you start to win. Once you start to win you can
increase your bets and/or take on more risky wagers, by then you are betting with the casinos
money.
Be aware of the payoff values of certain wagers to ensure that the payoff is an even value. The
casino will not pay off properly when the payoffs are uneven they will round down to the next
even payoff. Thus a winning $5 bet paying 3 to 2 should pay $7.50 but the casino will only pay
$7. You should only make even number bets with these odd thus a $6 bet paying 3 to 2 will pay $9.
Prior to rolling the dice the shooter must keep them over the table and handle them only with
one hand. This eliminates the possibility of the dice being switched for another set.
When the shooter does roll the dice he/she must throw them hard enough that they bounce off the
far end of the table. This is the only way that you can be sure that a "true" roll has occurred.
In the event that you throw the dice too hard and they bounce off the table the dealer will
simply slide more dice over to you and you can start over again.
Players betting against the shooter are not popular with some players. There is a belief that a
wrong bettor will increase the odds of a seven coming up.
Perhaps because few women play Craps when one does it is seen to bring luck to the table.
Superstition (and Craps players are a superstitious lot) has it that a woman who has never
rolled the dice (a virgin shooter) will have a hot roll the first time out.
